April Classes April 10– Saturday: Leather Day – The Lariat Look 9:00am – 11:30am Working with Leather: Knotted Leather Lariat Necklace –Learn to knot this elegant multi strand leather lariat for an elegant and contemporary design. Use glass beads, gemstones or pearls leather and wire to create a piece that is all the rage! Class Fee $40; Materials $15 additional 1:00pm – 3:30pm Leather Slide Lariat with Wirework Dangles – Learn to use end crimps and wire worked dangles of pearls, crystals and more to create a stunningly elegant lariat. Class Fee $40; Materials $15 additional April 17 – Saturday: Stitching Day! 9:00am – 11:30am Bead Weaving: Vine Bracelet - Learn the details of the Biva (Nepali) stitch to create a whimsical flower chain bracelet just perfect for Spring. Learn this stitch in a small group with individualized instruction. Class Fee $40; Materials $15 additional 1:00pm – 3:30pm Bead Weaving: Freeform Beaded Appliqué – Expand your skills with the art of freeform Beaded Appliqué. We will stitch a freeform pin or pendant in this class incorporating new edging stitches and embellishments with basic appliqué stitching. We will make a pendant or bracelet charm in this class. Class Fee $40; Materials $15 additional 1:00pm – 5:00pm Double Strand Silk Knotting – Learn the art of double strand silk knotting to create an earthy yet elegant knotted gemstone or pearl necklace. We will make several pendants and bracelet charms in this class.
